Meet colleen

HR Background

I’m Colleen — a senior People and HR leader with a strong operator and systems mindset, shaped by early experience in management consulting and analytical roles.


I bring over 17 years of experience leading HR across early-stage, fast-moving teams and mature, regulated environments, adapting my approach while keeping a strong focus on clarity, fairness, and systems that hold up. 


My background spans HR systems and transformation work, job architecture and compensation, workforce planning, and organizational design — including team turnarounds and building foundational HR centers of excellence — with experience supporting multi-state and global operations, audit ready environments, and core employment compliance (including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, and more).


My goal is simple: to make things clearer and easier than I found them. I focus on leader support, and leaders come to me when situations are nuanced, sensitive, or stuck — and they need a clear path forward.


People are the most rewarding part of the work, and I’m always glad to help, whether that means getting through a short-term issue or providing longer-term fractional HR support.

Beyond HR

Outside of work, I spend time with my family in the Pacific Northwest - hiking, kayaking, watching comedies (laughing is a must!), reading, volunteering, and soaking up every second of the summer sunshine!
